Summary of this page

Dr Ban Lau graduated from Queensland University in 1980s and was trained at the famous cardiac centre (Prince Charles Hospital) in Brisbane before he moved to Sydney in 1995. He is a general cardiologist who specialises in screening people with suspected or potential heart disease, doing appropriate and necessary tests and instituting good management plans for all his patients. If needed, he will refer his patients to the appropriate doctors, e.g. to EP gurus for radio-frequency ablation for patients with supra-ventricular tachycardia. He has been in private practice in Hurstville for more than 20 years. He is very busy and popular in the local area. His mission is to save lives, alleviate sufferings and improve quality of lives.

Dr Lau is also a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a fellow of The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and a member of Australian Chinese Medical Association.

Dr. Lau enjoys travelling and watching movies and is a highly-skilled and experienced martial artist.
